The SISJA Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) is a volunteer-run program open to both boys and girls in Grades 3rd – 8th within the boundaries of the St. Isidore or St. Joan of Arc parishes. Athletes do not have to be Catholic to participate but simply seek to enjoy track and field in a Christian environment, practice Christian attitudes and responsibilities, and become friends with other children throughout the Oakland Diocese.

Practices: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:00-5:30pm. In February we will practice at Rancho San Ramon Community Park. Beginning in March we will practice at Diablo Vista Middle School. There will be a few Sunday practices to learn the field events. First practice is Monday 2/10. No practice on Monday 2/17 (President's Day).

2025 Meets: Saturdays 8:00am to (approximately) 1:00pm on:

• March 15 - Meet #1 at Cal High
• March 22 - Meet #2 at Cal High
• March 29 - Meet #3 at Cal High
• April 5 - Meet #4 location TBD
• April 12 - Qualifying Meet at Cal High
• April 26 - Relay Meet location TBD
• May 1 & 3 - Sectional Championship
• May 8 & 10 - Diocesan Championship

Athlete Expectations:

• Attend at least two (2) practices per week;
• Participate in at least 2 of the 4 regular meets;
• Participate in the Qualifying Meet (4/12/23)

Parent Expectations: Fulfill the mandatory volunteer requirement by helping at practices and meets or in a coach/organizational role.

Cost: Registration Fee is $175 per athlete ($450 total for families of 3 athletes or more); volunteer deposit is $300.
